Overview

This is a concentration calculator, to be used when the solvent is water. This is meant for use for Koi ponds or Koi quarantine ponds or Koi treatment solutions preparation. This concentration calculator can be used to calculate volume of Salt, Potassium Permanganate or other solutes (dissolved in water).

General Notes

Typical salt concentration for quarantine, and general health/wellbeing should be 0.3%.
Salt concentration for health issues should not exceed 0.5% ; it can kill Koi
Always measure with proper tools (e.g. salinity meter for salt)
Add prepared solution slowly, distribute it evenly and measure frequently to achieve desired result.
