A Shusui is a variety of Asagi with a scaleless back, featuring blue coloration with red markings on the body, and metallic scales along the lateral line. Ki means "yellow color" and Shusui means ‘autumn water’ and refers to the pattern of yellow/orange colour on a blue background looking like autumn leaves that have fallen from a tree to land in the river.

The Ki is a deep orange color, and is very well balanced though still developing. The blue color is well defined as well. The black markings along the lateral line is balanced, but it does not extend to the head . The fins also have a fiery orange color.
