A Shusui is a variety of Asagi with a scaleless back, featuring blue coloration with red markings on the body, and metallic scales along the lateral line. Shusui which means ‘autumn water’ and refers to the pattern of red colour on a blue background looking like red leaves that have fallen from a tree to land in the river.

This particular Koi has red marking on it's fins, and has a deep blue color. It also has a reddish mark on the body near the tail which is very distinctive indeed.
