The ideal filtration media in any type of filter! Ultimate Tube Media is a floating media with a higher biofilm surface than other plastic media. 

Note- this is not K1 media- but similar. "K1" is reserved by Evolution Aqua.

• Round, tubular filter media with multiple internal baffles which create tremendous additional surface area for beneficial bacteria.
