How to Apply

Shake Microbe-Lift Sludge Away well. Measure out the amount of product for your pond size. It can be applied in one spot or spread around the edge of the pond. Be sure to have vigorous aeration when using Sludge Away. The acceleration and rapid breakdown of pond muck and sludge will increase the demand for oxygen.

When to Apply

Add Microbe-Lift Sludge Away to fish ponds to improve water clarity by removing organic bottom solids that are slow to degrade. For best results, apply when water temperatures are above 50°F.

• First Application Dose:
  • Use 2 ounces per 100 gallons of pond water.
• Basic Application Dose:
  • Use 1 ounce per 100 gallons of pond water for the next four weeks.
• Maintenance Dose:
  • Use 1 ounce per 100 gallons of pond water monthly or as necessary thereafter.Any change in pond water color after application will normally dissipate within 2 days.
• Use over Above 50°F; Shelf life is 2yrs
